ROLL BARS
Ask anyone who has had an open car with the performance level that the Miata is capable of, and they will tell you the importance of a good roll bar. My own son slid on black ice and rolled his '94 Miata. Unfortunately, though he had plans to install a roll bar, he had not gotten around to it. The resulting head trauma he sustained has left him with permanent issues. Having this happen so close to us has left us outspoken about the need for rollover protection.
